💙The story behind this rug is so lovely. The weaver is a dear relative of mine. Ironically she's never been to school but she loves rivers and natural scenery. As we like to offer unique rugs and non repeat designs I let weavers in my family and community use their imagination.

And this lady said she'd depict the view from her village home window into this rug. (Original photo of view I snapped when I stayed over for a few days available 💜)
